A gorgeous vintage 1920s or earlier petticoat skirt. Light weight, calico cotton is brown with sort of deco style small floral and circle print in brown with ivory and burnt orange. High waistband, heavily gathered, full length sweeping skirt with tier at the hem that is trimmed with lace. Hook closure and semi-open side hip flap closure. Unlined - slightly sheer.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Hardly any wear, just a couple very minor marks, and a few small stress pulls/hole. The waist been taken in an inch or two by hand, possibly to cover a flaw as there is some wear just underneath and could be let out again but choice is left to the buyer - see photo. Shows hand stitching and minor irregularities which give this piece lots of character.
